INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY, REGISTERED TRADEMARKS

The structure, design and look and feel of the items (graphics, images, files, logotypes, colour combinations and any other item that may warrant protection) are protected by intellectual property rights held by STARTRANS.

The reproduction, transformation, distribution, public communication and normally any other form of partial or total exploitation of the items referred to in the previous section is prohibited. DO NOT SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

STARTRANS will never send you an email nor telephone you to ask you to disclose or verify your account password, your bank account or credit card numbers or any other type of personal information. Should anyone contact you, or if you receive an unsolicited email asking for any of the above data, do not reply and inform STARTRANS immediately for it to investigate the incident.

IDENTIFY FAKE EMAILS (‘spoofing’ or ‘phishing’ attempts)

Ignore all emails that you receive requesting personal information or redirecting you to another website that does not belong to STARTRANS or its group companies, or which asks you to pay by any medium other than that which is authorised by STARTRANS, since it could be an attempt at identity theft (spoofing or phishing) and should be regarded as fake.

STARTRANS uses the startranssa.com domain for its emails. If you receive an email with a different format, for example startranssa.security@hotmail.com, you can be sure that it is fake. Some emails that engage in phishing contain links to websites with the words STARTRANSin their URL but direct you to a totally different website. If you hover the mouse over the link, you can see the associated URL, which will probably have a different format to the ones that point to genuine STARTRANS websites.

If you click an email that engages in phishing and you are redirected to a page that is similar to “Your Account” or receive any other email that asks you to verify or change your personal information, ignore it and treat it as fake.

REPORT PHISHING ATTEMPTS

Send an email to the starbcn@startranssa.com address and attach the email you believe to be fake. By providing us with this information you are helping us to locate the source. If you cannot attach the fake email, forward it to dpd@startranssa.com and include as much information as possible about it.

STARTRANS is totally committed to the protection of the data of the users that access the website services. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform startranssa.com users about the processing and the uses of the personal data collected on the website by means of the additional information, so that they may choose, freely and voluntarily, whether or not they wish to provide the information requested.
